The historic B listed Dunoon Burgh Hall is now a fully accessible venue for exhibitions, performances and gatherings. Alongside a gallery and theatre, the venue offers creative workshop space, a garden and a cafe.
Why do we have the Dunoon Burgh Hall
The restoration of Dunoon Burgh Hall is an inspiring story of a small Scottish community coming together to preserve its rich cultural heritage. The building was rescued from demolition by the community, who worked with the John McAslan Family Trust to purchase it from Fyne Homes housing association in 2008 for a token £1.

The newly renovated Dunoon Burgh Hall is a fantastic and versatile space to host any special occasion or event. From art exhibitions and theatre performances to celebrating a wedding or anniversary, our spaces can be adapted to suit your event.

Our gallery is open Tuesday through to Sunday, 12pm to 4pm (we are closed Mondays).
We host a fantastic and varied exhibition programme throughout the year, as well as scheduled events and performances.
Get Involved
We run a varied programme of workshops and holiday programmes for young people, workshops and classes for adults, as well as free artists’ talks alongside our exciting exhibition programme.
We work with our local schools and nurseries, as well as professional artists, filmmakers, performers and more, to deliver high quality experiences for our audiences.
