Do you live with any family and or pets?:
I live alone, my son lives in other city. I have no pets, only trees and plants in my garden.
Tell us a little about your full-time job and/or education?:
In 1976 graduated from Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). Professor of painting and drawing since 2008.
If you weren't an artist what would you be doing instead?:
The alternative is medicine, it is very important to help people.
What moment in your career are you most proud of?:
I'm proud of the fact that many of my students have become professional artists.

What is the most challenging part about being an artist in todays market?:
To sell artworks to art lovers.
Visual art is often love/hate. How do you handle negative feedback?:
Negative feedback often motivates the artist to improve his skill and create more and more.
What do you feel when something is sold? Why?:
I'm happy because I see that someone loves my art.
What is your creative process like?:
The creative process is very close to the scientific research work.
How has your style changed over the years?:
The changes in my style are related to my own discovery of new laws of colour.
