The overall size including the frame as shown is 28 wide x 16 high x 1.5 deep inches.
  • A large and vibrant semi abstract seascape in a passing storm, painted with many glazes to enhance the translucency and iridescence of the sea, on fine linen fabric. Framed in silver on wood and ready to hang. Canvas size without frame 28x26 inches
  • With Spring is here - be in time to claim this lovely bouquet to brighten your special place. Painted in oil on wood panel.
  • Walking through the ancient chines in Dorset, and seeing the dappled sunlight falling thru the old pinetrees, is what inspired this painting. Seeds dropped by the birds flying over from Madeira hundreds of years ago is what created these dense and magical 'Chines' full of Pines and wild Rhododendrons. Painted in oils on a box canvas with painted sides. There is no need to frame and it is ready to hang.
  • A detail of this painting was chosen and given permission to use in packaging for a cosmetic company in Barcelona which makes it rather special! More details on this on request. The little house on top of the cliff, with the light in the window, is how in the olden days the sailors and fishermen would be guided a safe journey and welcome home by their wives and widows from the treacherous seas around the Jurassic coast of Dorset. I was inspired with this new genre of painting by the wonderful 'cragginess' of the Jurassic coastline close to where I live in Dorset and where I find the inspiration for my Seascapes. Like the Seascapes, for which I am well known locally, the light is perfect for painters. This oil on box canvas measures 30 x 24 inches and has painted sides ready to hang immediately without the need of a frame.
