Out of stockRoundism – 06-02-18 (sold) Recently I saw a picture of a model passing by posing a great triangular shape. I used this principle and my own model (with a bob hair cut) to make a cubistic composition out of triangles, circles and rectangulars, complemented with a harmonized balance of light and darker planes, creating rhythym and diction. Roundism – 10-03-18 The challenge was to create maximum flow but still maintain a recognizable female figure. Therefore I wanted no section crossing another in order to create a feel of weightlessness. I beefed up the tonality a little bit in order to get some more figuration and to avoid that the overall drawing would appear to be shallow. The bubbles and fingers were added in order to relate the spectator to the image and still be able to enjoy abstract body forms.
