A painting called "The body 2". The technique used is GRAPO.
  • This oil painting was inspired by the 'blue' moon which only makes an appearance on this planet once every 150 years and is wonderful to behold - providing there are no clouds! It is considered very lucky and evokes new beginnings. Size: 24 wide x 18 high x 1.5 deep inches. Oil on box canvas with painted deep sides and ready to hang.
  • The blue hour, so called by the hour just before darkness - or twilight. I was inspired by that hour to paint this image of the moon just glancing thru the clouds casting its light upon the waters. . Painted in oils on deep sided box canvas with the sides painted correspondingly and ready to hang without the need of a frame. Size 41 wide x 51 high x 4 cm (16x20x1.5 inches)

The adventurer under the sea is a 40x40x1.5 inches oil painting of under the ocean with a single threadfin butterfly fish. The fish is very small in the big blue sea and is very intent of his purpose. He is solo and is he free. Above him his yellows and purples are reflected in the surface of the water. Light sparkles and shines through the turquoise waves and ripple along the bottom of the rainbow coloured ocean sand. This painting as another in a series of seascapes inspired by a Caribbean holiday spent mostly face down in the sea snorkeling. But it is also about the feeling of freedom and space that I love so much about the sea. It is dedicated to anyone starting on a new course in life. Painting on deep edge canvas, white edges, ready to hang.

  • This is an original oil painting of traditional telephone boxes. It's very rare to see a row of telephone boxes like this in London anymore, so this is my tribute. This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on board. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is sold in a handmade wooden frame, ready to hang. The painting measures 20" x 20" (50.8 x 50.8 cm) All paintings are carefully wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Please read the separate section on shipping, refunds and exchanges. Summer Playground is a 40x40x1.4 inches large semi abstract oil on canvas of a summer meadow with wildflowers and swallows. I painted it after a walk through fields and farmland between Hartfield and Ashurstwood in Sussex on a very hot July day. There was wheat and barley and corn growing in the fields and at the edges there were a myriad of wildflowers growing. Insects were buzzing and the birds were singling and calling in the trees of the hedgerows and patches of woodland. One particular meadow had swallows flying up and down incredibly fast using the thermals which made them even faster than they usually are. They were not doing it for any obvious reason other than it was fun I think. I am happy at the way the colours on this painting merge and seem to melt together slightly as it is reminiscent of the heat of this day and has captured it well for me. I can hear the birds and the insects, smell the crops and the flowers and remember how happy it makes me feel. England in summer is fleeting and sunny days are a minority so it is good to catch them when they occur which I think I have done. The painting has white edges and is ready to hang. It does not need a frame. Video at: https://youtu.be/wreKAJHQ5q8

Summer Meadow with Swallows is a 30x30x1.5 inches oil on canvas of a wildflower filled summer meadow with two swallows dancing over it. This painting is semi abstract, art nouveau and expressionist in style and was my valiant attempt to the capture a moment last August when I was in a meadow near Lingfield in Surrey. There was an abundance of colours in the wildflowers, perfumes given out by the flora and fauna, the buzzing and whine of insects and constant jubilant birdsong. Swallows were flying over and around me very quickly and as I tried to focus on the birds, the flowers and trees and grasses in the fields and meadows beyond them slid out of focus as the painting itself reflects to some degree. It gave me a totally timeless feeling and I really wanted to catch and immortalize this particular moment.
