• This spectacular view is indeed such a thing of beauty captured from the craggy coastline of El Faro on the Andalusian Coast. Painted in oils on a deep sided gallery wrap box canvas. The painting is back corded and it is ready to hang.
  • A detail of this painting was chosen and given permission to use in packaging for a cosmetic company in Barcelona which makes it rather special! More details on this on request. The little house on top of the cliff, with the light in the window, is how in the olden days the sailors and fishermen would be guided a safe journey and welcome home by their wives and widows from the treacherous seas around the Jurassic coast of Dorset. I was inspired with this new genre of painting by the wonderful 'cragginess' of the Jurassic coastline close to where I live in Dorset and where I find the inspiration for my Seascapes. Like the Seascapes, for which I am well known locally, the light is perfect for painters. This oil on box canvas measures 30 x 24 inches and has painted sides ready to hang immediately without the need of a frame.
  • I caught these lovely Hollyhocks in an English summer garden by chance and got back to the studio to create this oil painting on wood panel. I felt it worthy of a nice moulding so I framed it in 'distressed' gold on wood and it is now ready to hang.
  • Inspired by the music of the same name - that wonderful serene piece of music by Vaughn Williams. But also inspired by the ancient lush Chines and pine trees of Poole in Dorset at sunrise. Walk there and memorise those lovely strains of music so befitting this magical place. This oil painting will come to you ready to hang and for you to enjoy remembering those special moments every day. Oil painted on box canvas with paint continued around the sides and ready to hang, without the need of a frame.
  • A still life oil painting of these lovely flowers in full summer blossom. Painted in oils on a deep sided box canvas with a textured impasto technique to create depth and a 3D effect - you can almost pick them off the canvas! It is ready to hang.

For a better view, you can use a frame suitable for your interior and the picture itself. Turning to the workshop that is in your city, you can choose the best frame of your choice. I carefully coat all my works with varnish in order to give glossiness and enhance the saturation of work. Thus the work becomes more resistant to sunlight, water and mechanical damage. Caring for such works is quite simple. It is enough to take a soft cloth, wet and wash the work without strong pressure. Painting and objects of art is one of the most durable things in the world and for decades the work of varnished remains unchanged.
  • Spring Orchard is an original oil painting of pink and white apple blossom trees in an orchard by a stream. The inspiration for the painting was of an orchard I found last May near Forest Row in Sussex. The style is contemporary, art nouveau and expressionistic was and was made by blending thick layers of paint over and over again and adding more and more colours and paint daubs until the paint is extra thick in the centre. I kept the edges blurred to help with the effect of it being a painting of a memory. The colours are pale greens, whites and pinks. This place was magical and I wanted to capture a little of the moment. I would not have been surprised to see mythical creatures appear in the fields beyond the stream but instead was happy just to listen to the birds who love May even more that I do. This painting is 30x30x1.5 inches and is painted on deep edge canvas, white edges, no frame needed. https://youtu.be/X1OsVWyDsOI
