American Beauty – Number five in the series.

The relic series is designed to bring to life the man made machines and tools that were once much treasured and loved by their owners. Now past their life of practical usefulness they are abandoned to the scrape heap or just dumped in a field. Now the property of Mother Nature, she slowly takes her grasp on these polluting hulks and breaks them back down into their raw components. Plant and animal life starts to reshape and claim them back. Some eventually disappear into a rusted pile of dust, while some get rescued by mankind. Whatever is in store for their future, for now their beauty and power is tamed, just as we all are in the end. Always powerful emotions are close to the surface each time I chance upon this battle scene…
