Uploading Your Bio

Assuming you have logged into your account using your email address and password, you should now be looking at the Dashboard.

  1. Click the ‘Vendor Dashboard’ menu at the top of your screen.

  1. Select ‘Settings’ (see below):

3. Once you are in Settings you should be able to see the content box entitled ‘Bio’.

4. If there is anything in the box, just delete it.

5. Then you can add what you want to write about yourself.

6. When you have finished remember to CLICK ‘Update Settings’.

7. You know that your changes have been saved when you see ‘Your information has been saved successfully’ at the top of your screen (See below):


TOP TIPS: WHAT TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOUR BIO

– Written in the third person.
– A BRIEF description of your current work.
– Your past: art instruction, influences, and what has shaped your art etc.
– List relevant recent exhibits or venues.
– List relevant recent collections or commissions, accolades, awards, etc.
– Where you were born and where you currently live.
– Add more relevant things and remove less relevant things.

TOP TIPS: WHAT TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOUR ARTIST STATEMENT

– Written in first person.
– Be brief – only a couple paragraphs MAX.
– About your CURRENT art – not past periods.
– Compel the viewer to want to look at your CURRENT work.
– Don’t include bio info here.
– Don’t mention other people’s work which has influenced you.
– This is a statement about YOUR art.
